The fact that two designers from different generations, during the quarantine, could work together without ever meeting in person and achieve a common design language for a typeface is remarkable.

This typeface designed by Reza Bakhtiarifard in 2017 for MTN Irancell Telecommunication Company, and can’t be purchased. Not to mention that weights were co-designed by Omid Emamian & Mahdi Ershadi.
Dabestan
Dabestan is designed for students from 7 to 12 whose minds are blank from any writing experience. Since teachers have an important role in educating system, this typeface should be easy for teachers to teach, and for students to learn and read.

The project’s main focus has been on achieving an even, natural line rhythm, smooth joins, precise spacing, and sustained readability in long-form text.
